Mary - Joseph Sunday School Class

The Mary-Joseph Sunday School Class has been in existence for over fifty years.  The Sunday School Class is open to anyone who wants to study God's Word. Most of  the members of the class are over fifty years of age. We use the Augsburg Bible Studies which provide a quarterly dated Bible study covering a wide range of biblical books and themes each year. Within a six year cycle, portions of all 66 books of the Bible are covered. It is a comprehensive and continuous study of Scripture to affirm one's Christian faith and discipleship in daily life. Presently, we are studying the book of John. We meet in the church library on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Usually we have 25-35 members present. All are welcome!

In addition, the Sunday School class financially supports a Compassion child, Wilber Enriques Coreas Bernal of El Salvador by taking an additional offering once a month. Throughout the year the class supports the Salvation Army at Christmas and makes special packages for the shut-ins of the church at Christmas and Easter. The class is very involved in the life of the church with its various outreaches and service projects.
